Resolutions

Because you have inspired me to clean and organise, I decided to work on a specific spot in the craft room

It’s where bags of stuff get thrown and then forgotten about

As you can see. It’s bedlam up there

I’ve  only just begun, and I’ve found four WIP’s.

My resolution this year is to finish them all.

These are two what  I found yesterday

Today’s two are a simple granny square blanket, which Leanne started and said I had to finish after she passes

This year it will be 12 years since she left

Yeah well she didn’t give me a  time frame lol  I’m sure she’s  is looking at me shaking her head and laughing

The other is a crochet tartan blanket

I started to practice the technique

That will be easy to finish and I’ll put it in the the girls room for a dolls blanket

I’m a tad worried about continuing

Who knows how many more I’ll find

Oh well  it needs to be done and I’ll deal with the consequences what ever they are

Winter is shaping up to be a busy crafting one

  1. I had a resolution in 2019 to finish more things than I started. Folks thought that a metaphysical impossibility - they hadn't seen my craft stash. Good luck with yours - it can be very satisfying (even throwing out the ones you finally admit you never wanted to carry on with anyway.)

  2. I've hauled out one WIP....I think I need to look realistically at the box of things to be mended!

  3. Wow that's quite a lot of containers to go through. You need to teach your grandchildren now to crochet granny squares. Then you'll be finishing off their projects too lol
Those 2 wips you've photoed are lovely. Worth finishing!

  4. Oh yeah, I've got a top shelf in a closet that looks similar. I really need to cull and purge it.

  5. Since I received a yarn and unfinished project donation, I now have new to me projects. But I'm not sure there's enough yarn included to finish. So I may have to figure out some upcycling.

    1. I think a trip to the op shop, what’s what we call the shops that sell second hand usually run by a charity, is due.
I’m sure you will be able to find something you can use
