We planted some spring onions. First of consecutive plantings
Cabbages doing really well.
Cauliflower coming along nicely
Broccoli starting to come along
We have had a few frosts so our kale will be nice and sweet
Some baby peas. Hubby was eating them straight from the plant lol
A few more pots added to the pergola area. Only a few more I think and it will be done
Also went out Saturday night with the girls to a fundraiser for an orphanage in Thailand. It so sad how there children live. Yet amazing how people care enough to get in and do something about their lives. How just a little for us can make a huge difference in their lives.
So counting my blessings today and thanking the universe for those blessings
Have a wonderful week
Every thing looks great. Wish I could a winter garden. :)
ReplyDeleteI envy you the chance to have a winter garden. Those peas look delectable, I would eat them right off the vine as well! The laundry is coming right along!
ReplyDeleteYour vegie patch is looking great Angela! Good on you for supporting the fundraiser for those Thai children...and I agree it's terrible how some children have such poor living conditions and little opportunity for education etc. The parish art show that I wrote about last week, is an annual fundraiser for the money our church sends to an orphanage for girls in Harare...our parish been doing it for 31 years, so some of those girls would be adults well and truly by now.
