More spring cleaning

The sun is shining so of course more spring cleaning happened

This is the back veranda as we call it
During winter stuff kinda gets dumped here with intent of putting it away later. Then I forget or just don’t bother, until spring

I forgot the before shots but honestly it wasn’t a nice place you would want to sit and have a drink in

The windows and the house got scrubbed nice and clean. As we live in a semi rural area we get lots of dust and it accumulates in here. If we gat rain coming in the right angle it turns to mud

Now all that dust and dirt is gone

You can see my clothes line and a bag I washed lol
But other than that it is a big improvement I’ll take down that line for the summer. It needs replacing as it’s fraying

The budgie used to be by the door. Next to the drinks fridge. I got sick of cleaning feathers and seeds that came into the house.  Tweetie is now close to Henry’s cage

Looking from inside the sewing room window. So much more light is now coming in

The dogs blankets and jumpers have all been washed and hung on the line to dry

I started to do all this by myself. But after almost an hour I was in so much pain and I hadn’t really made a dint   So I had to text hubby to come help me

I don’t like having to ask for help. Hubby has his own jobs to do. Not to mention he’s in pain as well. But together the job got done very quickly

I think a nice cold drink with our dinner. And a sit down to admire our days work.

Next on the list. The outdoor room

  1. Over here, on the far side of the world, I was also cleaning windows to let as much light into the house as possible over Winter as mine had got dusty too.

  2. Your outdoor area is just lovely. Perfect for long summer days. You two did wonders. Roll on sunshine and long cold drinks.

    2. Thank you. We did work hard. I put the flag up last Australia Day. And it’s still there. I’ll keep it as long as it still in one piece

    1. Until it’s way too hot to be there. I like to sit and enjoy the flowers after all the work to look after them
