Warning long post
Friday arrived and it was a tad different to the usual day.
Ana had an appointment with ear specialist. They looked into her ear and there is one grommet left. It should be out by the next appointment. After that he won’t need to see her again. Unless of course they have more issues
So this meant that only Georgia arrived with daddy.
It was nice just having one on one time. I could hold her as long as I, she , wanted me too.
No guilt

She still sleeps hanging onto grandma
Grandma doesn’t mind a bit

Lunch was spaghetti bolognaise
As you can see she enjoyed it thoroughly

She thinks grandma is really funny
Ana arrived right on lunchtime
With a lollipop the doctor gave her. She’s going to miss going to him
She wanted fruit for her lunch, so that’s what she got. A platter with fresh fruits, raw vegetables, like cucumbers, little tomatoes and carrots

There was also banana, but she didn’t want that so grandma ate it
Soon daddy arrived to pick the girls up.
They were going home where mummy was working remotely
Georgia stayed with mum while daddy and Ana went to swimming lessons.
After coming home the girls were showered and changed into pjs and they came back to grandmas.
We had a yummy roast dinner
After dinner Georgia showed signs of wanting sleep.
Ana was staying the night, as daddy had to come into work to do a few things in the morning st the shed. after which he picked up Ana and headed home
Ana cuddled grandma and was asleep before her parents were even home
I sent her mummy this photo

Grandma received a message back saying Georgie was asleep before they had turn off our street

Mummy and daddy each having a child to settle

This morning, after kicking grandma and grandpa all night, Ana was all full of beans again.
She ate her breakfast, toast with peanut butter, and after grandma said she could watch pepper pig.
Daddy arrived soon and the went home
Grandma then told grandpa we needed to go to Bunnings to get a few things
We came back with seedlings and two bags of sugar cane mulch
Once home we got stuck in
While Ana was still here I had washed and pegged out to dry one load of washing and had another load in the machine
It was ready to hang when we got back
Meanwhile hubby got the supplies and headed out back

On Friday hubby got a trailer load of good rich soil.
We finished topping up these garden beds, added the mulch and now it’s finished
All tucked in bed for winter

All strawberry pots were weeded, topped with the rich soil and mulched the five pots on the right are the strawberries
The rhubarb was also topped with soil and mulched.
The other little pot has silver beets

The silverbeet was in a slightly bigger pot than this and had well and truly out grown it.
I got it out, cleaned that potting mix of all weeds and left it in the closest large garden bed. It needed topping up as well
I split all the silver beets and planted them out
The largest were replanted into the wicking bed. They were then watered in
The three smallest plants were planted in this pot with fresh potting mix
They all look a tad sad right now but I’m sure they will perk up

These pots were emptied into the small bed in front of the asparagus. It’s got perpetual basil growing
Then that was mulched watered in and is now ready for a sleepover winter. Ready to burst out again in spring
Hubby filled them with the rich soil and I planted them out.
More cauliflower, kale and turnips. Just for a change
I then covered them with the netting

We had a small cut off left over from netting the pots . I grabbed it and knew exactly where to use it
On top of the peppers. I would of liked a little more over hang, but it’s ok
Fingers crossed it keeps the frost from killing the plants
Hubby unloaded the soil here so it’s close to where I need it the chickens thought it was a new play area just for them

And Agatha just sitting and chilling
After bringing in all the washing
And packing up outback, I came inside and had a long hot bath
I’ll definitely need my emergency extra strong meds tonight.
Ouchie I’m in pain, I’ll have to share some with hubby. He’s been limping too. He’s feet and ankles are riddled with arthritis
He’s gone to get another trailer of mulch for around the veg garden area
Once he gets home I think I’ll door dash pizza for our dinner. I’m oh so sore and tired to even think about cooking
We have another job tomorrow. It really needs to be done
But I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow night
