Well dinner from our backyard
Potato salad. It’s simple no mayo.
Potatoes, onions, Italian spices, oil and vinegar
It’s yummy. And we snack on it straight from the fridge
Potatoes and onions from the garden
Potato and leek soup both vegetables from the garden
It looks way more yellow than it is
I added some of this
Just to give it a taste boost.
The weather took a nosedive Sunday. It rained all day. Not much we could do outside. So we had a rare stay inside and watch telly days.
Hubby watched motor sports, while I tried to work out what the bleep I had done wrong in the mosaic crochet.
Today I pulled it all out and started from scratch
Please l pray for me in this trying time
Grrrrrrrrrrr

Good luck with round 2 of the mosaic crochet!
ReplyDeleteYou're so patient with your work. But you have strengthening soup to keep you going. My favorite, potato and leek.
ReplyDeleteI'd eat all of those! That simple potato salad is the best. So much better when they're your own potatoes. And love leek and potato soup. Time to enjoy all your hard garden work.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with the mosaic crochet
love leek and potato soup. It sucks when you have to start afresh with a project. All crafters know that feeling!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's quicker to just rip it out and start again - frustrating, though. Hope it's smoother sailing this time.
ReplyDeleteOh dear it must have been bad to go all the way back to the start. Is it one of those things where you need to get the foundation row perfect for everything else to work (unlike my knitting where I do sneaky increases or decreases if I haven't got the count exactly right🤫🙄)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately you can’t do that in mosaic. The picture will definitely look off.
DeleteI too do it when knitting lol
