Job done
Here is the berry patch. It will be easy to net and hopefully I'll get some berries next summer
In here is kale. Cauliflower. Broccoli. Perpetual spinach. Cabbage and I even scattered purple carrot seed
The chillies and eggplants. Still producing even though they have slowed down. Normally I'd pull them out by now because I needed the space. As I have three more new gardens still empty I'm going to leave them and see how long they last. I may even cover then to protect from frost and see how that goes.

What do you think?
Any way a job finished for now and although I watered them in it would be nice for some rain now
You know. Just to make sure lol
Busy planting
I'm going to be busy putting these in the ground.
I got winter veggies to put in and I'm turning one garden bed into a berry patch
I can't wait till they start fruiting
Love summer berries

I'll post pics once I'm done. It might not be today. Taking teddy to the vet this afternoon. He had a sore ear. Hopefully nothing too serious

All systems go!
Since getting home hubby has been demolishing and clearing getting it all ready to start the big rebuild. Here we had some bottlebrushes that had grown huge! Today they were cut down and taken away. We will dig out the law and concrete ready for timber to be constructed as an open roofed pergola. It will be a perfect place to have a nice cuppa on a hot summer afternoon.
But we are not the only ones working at improvements. The council have finally started work on our road. They will widen it and seal it and after 26 years of mud and dust we will have a real bitumen road!

So slowly it's all progressing. A young man that grew up just up the rad from us is now a builder and he came today to ask exactly what I had in my head.
He will be here in a few weeks to start the build. So it all has to be down by then.
It's all getting exiting. I promise to post pics as it all happens

Back into the groove
I'm slowly getting back into my normal life. Fire is lit and keeping me snuggly warm while I'm heating up soup. Hubby has come back with the flu so Greek chicken soup was exactly what he needed.
I've got the house back to how I left it. Two cats and kids coming to look after them and it wasn't as neat and tidy as I liked. Although baby girl did tell me she vacuumed at least once lol
All washing has been folded and all clothes have now been unpacked and put away
And I've even got some crochet done.
Over the jet lag now and this morning I even started back at the pool, although I think I'll give tomorrow a miss as I think I've overdone today.
So even though I'm tired and pain levels have increased I'm happy.
It's so very nice to be home.

Singapore
Beautiful lights that have real plants growing on them
Fancy hotels
Wealth fountains
Innovative ideas
History and grandour
And of course the Singapore sling at the original place it was served

Bali
Lots of temples
A working village where the people still use traditional methods of farming. We were told that some farmers even have fish growing amongst the rice to eat bugs and provide extra food for their families
Local food, prepared for us by a village family
And at the end they even gave us a coconut to drink.
