For snow bush

You wanted to see what I classed as a big truck this is one. Enjoy!

Westernport

Blogging from the middle of western port in Victoria Australia. It's low tide and the ground you can see is normally underwater. We are waiting for the tide to come in a little more so we can go back in. It's been a great day on the water relaxing. We are bringing in one whiting, one flathead and one morton bay bug! I caught lots of fish but they were all too small. So I had to throw them back. It's just fun to catch them.
Hope your having a great day

Australia day

I hope you all had a great Australia day.
We spent ours at our sister in laws house with all of hubbys brothers. The kids played in the pool and we had a BBQ dinner.
Just a typical Aussie summer day!

Expectations

Woke up this morning to wild winds and black clouds. Everything is so dry that a huge downpour would be very welcomed.
Only as hard as its trying the rain hasn't eventuated. It's so muggy though so I'm still waiting for it. I might have to go and do a naked dance but then I remember that everyone around here probably need their eyes.
So please pray for rain for me and save them all.

Blogging with friends

This is for my sister greek witch. Im lying in bed trying to read blogs and a little fluffy girl has decided to sit on my chest! Now it's very hard to read the iPad as you can see. So I decided to take photos instead. She is still sitting here and now she is trying to play with my fingers as I type. So very cute, gotta love that!

Falling in love again

Bella is finally trusting me and now follows me around the house. It's taken less than 24 hours. Even as I type this she is trying to chew the iPad and is swiping my hands to play.
To tell you about her, she is a British shorthair and they are not supposed to be very vocal or cuddly. I think someone forgot to tell Bella though! She follows me around the house, climbs on me while I'm face booking in bed and if she wanders away she meows constantly. If I call her she answers and comes running. This morning she broke through the las to the hesitancy I felt and melted my heart. I even had a little cry, I think it was the guilty feelings I had about replacing sabastian. I can never replace him in my heart, I think there is lots of room for someone new.

Bella

Hello! Here is my new baby girl. Her name is Bella. She was a very scared little girl but I brought her home and she is getting much better already.
She was the littlest girl in a house of many cats and I think she was just bullied a little. But I held her and I told her she was loved and safe here, and she let out a big sigh. Now she wants to come to me and play but I think a couple more days and she will be following me around. It's now nearly eight in the evening, and she has only been here since two this afternoon.
She has had a big day and meet Stephanie and my sister in law plus her two daughters.
She was very a very good girl and even tried to come out and play with stephanie.
I'm sure as the next few days progress I will inundate you with more photos.

Our shed

I'm spending time in the shed as it's so lonely at home without my fur baby. I thought I would share some insight into what goes on here.
In the first photo wonderson is working on a small truck, while his dad is working on a customers car with radiator issues. Terry who is like a second son as he has been with us since he was seventeen is having lunch.
Normal is pretty good here but this morning there were raised voices so I didn't come over. But now there are all good again. That's how they are they will have a heated discussion one minute then they are joking around the next. Not like women.
I love having them work here everyday, especially now that our son no longer lives here, as I still get to see him nearly every day. It's a great way to earn a living
I hope you have enjoyed our little tour, I might take you on another soon.

Leanne update

I visited Leanne yesterday and considering she had such a huge op she was looking well. The great news she does not neet a colostomy bag! Yeah!!!!!!
they were able to remove the tumour and re attach the bowell. Unfortunately while removing the second tomour they had to take her spleen and a small part of her pancreas, but we knew the spleen might have to go so she had shots in prep for this.
They are moving her to bentleigh east today so she will know more of the staff there, which is great.
Unfortunately we have spent so much time there that even the security staff know us.
So thats all, now with the tomours gone she is cancer free, so hopefully the next course of treatment is able to keep her that way, for a very, very long time.
About 80 years would be great!

Ps the house is very lonely without sabastian.

R.I.P SABASTIAN

My beautiful baby has crossed the rainbow bridge. His kidneys had shut down and he had high blood pressure. So I made the horrible decision to put him to sleep.
I held him and he purred until the end.
I will miss him everyday.
Love you bash.

a stressful day

today has me all tied up in knots.
Leanne is in the operating theater right now have two tumours removed. One near her spleen and one in her bowel.
They do not know if they will need to take her spleen out and she will wake up with a colostomy bag, either until she heal enough to reattach or for the rest of her life.
again the doctors dont know which until they open her up.
Meanwhile my cat has gone down hill very fast, and he has an appointment at 1.oopm with the vets. I suspect his kidneys but he now sleeps all the time and has lost alot of weight.
so as you can see, not a good day.
I will let you all know as soon as I do.

Morning glory

This is the view from my hammock chair this morning. In the distance I can hear a lawnmower going, and the constant sound of birds. A dog is barking somewhere in the neighbourhood and my faithful cat is meowing because she wants some attention. Ina minute buffy when I finish typing hahaha.
I'm off to have lunch with leanne and her sister today, she goes in for major surgery on Wednesday and we don't know how she will come out of it. The worst case is no spleen and a colostomy bag.
But for now we are being upbeat for her, I know she is very scared
Hope life is treating you well. Oh and by the way I have worked out how to post pics on my blog while on the iPad. So I'll see how it goes.

summer days

Yesterday the temp got up to 41 (104) degrees. It was a scorcher! Today it's nicer but still a day to be sitting inside me thinks. I don't do hot at all. All my joints swell up and it's nice. This morning my son took me out to brunch for my birthday so it was nice. But now I'm here while hubby is doing stuff around the house, I can here the chain saw and splitter going. And I'm just relaxing and reading, I'll go outside soon to water the. Veggie patch. I hope the weather is nice where you are, spare a though for our fellow Aussies in tassie. Huge fires going on there, hopefully they get them under control soon.

My birthday

Well today is my birthday and I am 46. I've already had a tst from my beautiful daughter but the boys are both at work and think I'm still asleep. I don't really feel old but gosh seeing my kids all grown up, and looking around this place and seeing how much we have changed it since moving in a young bride I think goodness but I've been busy.
So today I will be just taking life easy, reflecting on the past and looking forward to the future.

2013

Happy new year!
Blogging from my sister in laws home as we spent new years eve here. Hubby and I slept in our van to save from having to drive home.
Had a fun night playing games and telling stories and laughing. Was the perfect way to bring in the new year.
Only thing missing were my kids but I'm getting used to it, kinda. I texted them at midnight but no response yet, baby girl did text me earlier as she is camping and the phone reception isn't the best. Where ever you are and whom ever your with have a safe and happy new year.
