Goodbye 2017

As the year draws to an end. I just want to say thank you to all my blogging friends 

I may not post as often as I used to 

Or comment as much

But I do visit you all often 

May your coming year be full of love, laughter, heath and wealth!

So that was Christmas

Christmas Day began with breakfast at our house for our kids  

Melody loved opening her gifts

It was a lovely way to start the day 

Then baby girl went to her in laws and wonderson and us headed off to my brother in laws for lunch 

I didn’t get picks but it was a lovely relaxed Christmas lunch. 

Then today, Boxing Day, we headed off to my parents for our family Christmas 

In the background you can see my sister and her daughter, my niece. And the little cutie is her son. My great nephew. Wyatt. He is only four months old 

And here is Melody with her dad and granddad photo bombing. 

She sure was enjoying her watermelon 

So that’s Christmas for this year. Lots of good food, presents. And laughter. 

I hope your Christmas was just the same.

Merry Christmas 2017

It’s Christmas Eve here right now 

So before it gets hectic I’d like

Christmas has begun

With less than ten days to go. The Christmas season is well on it’s way 

First I had a Christmas party with the Knitting group. 

Sorry didn’t take pics 

We had food, presents and laughter. It was a lovely afternoon.  The only sad part was 

My friend Shirley is moving to Queensland early next year so unless she flys down it was her last party with us

We were all very sad, and me especially as she has been my swim buddy for all these years 

I’m going to really miss her 

And then Friday we had our work Christmas party 

The boys all finished work early and came over to the house 

Our baby girl, Stephanie, who works in the office also came over.

The partners and children all arrived and we had one very noisy loud fantastic time 

I didn’t get any pics this day either. But Leah did and I’m using one of hers 

Here are the girls all playing in the pool 

Charli in the pool, in blue, is the oldest and she was very good looking after the little girls 

Mia also in the pool is next in age then Melody standing at the top of the pic and the youngest is Harper. She will 

Turn one on the 22nd of this month

It’s amazing how times have change 

It really was a perfect day

Abundance

A friend of mine messaged me and asked if I wanted some pig face cuttings. 

I had been eyeing off her plants so I said a big yes please 

This is what I got!

So I got a very small portion and started planting them out. 

In pots 





And straight into the gardens. 

Lots straight into the garden! 

And I haven’t even made a dent. 

So if you want some. Come on down. I’ll pop the kettle on lol 

Good friends are priceless

Just plodding along

We have been busy doing what needs to be done this time of year 

I have finished my Christmas shopping, it’s all wrapped up and ready for the big day 

As you can see. We have had a lot of rain 

It’s so wet out there. Which is nice for the plants. Not so much for us wanting to get out there and get stuff done 

And I don’t know if you can see. But Rupert and Albus have been to have their annual haircut. Rupert got his “bits” removed as well. So he will not be grumpy as he gets older and he hasn’t got a girlfriend lol 

So life is pretty hectic. But nice

I’ve tried to visit you all as much as I could. 

Hope your lives are as blissful as mine Right now
