For the last week it’s been all about squares
I have four shabby looking cushions. I gave them a nice new outfit
Two down. Two to go
These stitcheries are very very old
I made them in class, when baby girl was still in high school
They were made into cushions, but when they started to look well loved I removed them.
I didn’t want to throw out all that work so I cut them out
I’m not sure if I’ll turn them into a wall hanging
Or add different squares and make a quilt
I think they look nice in they’re new squares
Suggestions welcome

Remember when we were young, we were told to not get too close to the television or we will get square eyes

Current one is a monkey

Everyone loves monkeys
I love your well loved squares. Knee quilt. You will still have it when you are 90 and being wheeled around.😁
ReplyDeleteThat’s an idea. Then I’ll be able to remember the seasons of the year lol
DeleteI love all your squares, knitted and quilted. And those square eyes lol. I remember being told that. We should all have square eyes nowadays, or oblong from reading our phones 😅
ReplyDeleteI wonder if someone has done a survey to see if there has been an increase in the number of people getting glasses and at what ages May be we can get a grant and do one. You in Greece and me down here lol
DeleteAna looks so comfy in her own little chair and leg rest!
ReplyDeleteChildren can teach us lots about just relaxing
DeleteThe knitted squares a lovely, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. I'd make a wall hanging with the cushion squares so the squares don't deteriorate further but that's me. Looking forward to seeing whatever you do with these as well. :)
