Class of 85

a few months ago on of our classmates reminded us that it was now forty years since we graduated.

I was not ready to hear that!

but the truth is the truth. So he organised a night at a pub near where our old school was and we all spread the word

so many turned out and we all had a great time. Reminiscing about those days. Trying to remember everyone in the class photo and talking about our lives now.

even though most of us are close to retirement age, it really did feel like it was only yesterday that we last saw one another.

unfortunately not everyone was able to attend. But for those of us who did it was a magical night that transported us back into the past.

A big thank you to Andrew for organising it all.

the photo you see was taken with all who were there. Two photos were taken. One of us being nice and one of us being silly.

i chose the silly one because honestly it kind of suited us all better

  1. I can't imagine wanting to see my old classmates. Such a miserable period. One did try to get up a reunion but got almost no response. Your experience was much better.

  2. Forty years goes by in the blink of an eye, doesn't it. Glad you enjoyed the class reunion!

  3. I'm another one who wouldn't go to a reunion. It wasn't the best of times. But so many have passed now. My last year was around 1970. Can't even remember now
I'm glad you enjoyed your get together.

  4. I have never heard of any reunions being held for my year group. I think it would be interesting to meet up again. I tried looking people up on Facebook and I found a grand total of one. He was the class fascist and his current photo showed that time has not mellowed him. He is the one person I wouldn't want to see again!

  5. Just been catching up on what you've been up too. Love the cookies, they look yummy. The cover on the sofa is perfect. Cat's can do a lot of damage, our daughter had two and they destroyed a sofa we gave them. I left high school in 1980, so 45 years for me.......
