Anne

It’s been about six months now since we said goodbye to our dear friend Anne 

We decided to have a little get together and have coffee and cookies with Anne 

I made these to take with us

Home made cookies with home made jam 

Anne would of been proud of me 




There is a “living memorial garden “ not far from where we live 

Anne’s ashes have been placed under this tree. It’s her tree and she can have family placed her with her 

You can even have your fur babies as well 




Anne loved her fur babies. She kept the ashes of her two last dogs, which now rest with her 



Her human family will eventually rest her with her. And buddy, the golden retriever who was by her side when she was unwell. 

We hope it’s. Long time before anyone else joins her 

There were five of us sharing coffee and food 

We all shared our stories and laughed. Anne was always saying if doing something silly and we would all laugh at her. 

She laughed the loudest at herself. 

Eventually the weather turn very windy and we packed our picnic and headed home 

It was a lovely way to remember her. Having coffee in the morning just like we did every day after swimming 

She is very much missed by us all

Hubby and I have been pushing way too hard. 

We have decided to just rest today 

Since it’s may 4th here? We decided to watch 

Star Wars 

I’m knitting while watching 

On Friday Ana came to play. 

She’s not been here for two weeks. Between Easter Friday holiday and ANZAC day on the next Friday we missed out on grandma day 

Ana did say  “ I haven’t seen for ages grandma “

And she was correct 

Here she is doing some new jigsaw puzzles I bought 

From Aldi

I did buy other things from Aldi, but that another post 

I wish you all HAPPY MAY THE FOURTH 

Do something spacey to celebrate 

Third times the charm

Well I hope it is anyway. 

For some idiotic reason, when separating 

The body and sleeves I looked at the directions 

And seeing CO I cast off the number so stitches. 

Completely forgetting that BO is casting off

And CO is casting on more stitches 

So I’m back to square one

I’m blaming all the stuff that’s going on right now

On my total screw up here. 

The only consolation is, I don’t kneed to start another project. 

This one is keeping me very busy! 

Honestly. I thought the cable would be the hardest bit.

Help me   I really need it 

ANZAC DAY

Lest we forget

Today while bringing in the bins I saw this. 

That plant has been in the ground for about eight years and it’s never flowered 

I’m taking that as a good sign. All will be good and we will flourish 

I’ll post a pick when it’s fully open. 

This morning I meet the girls for a coffee and catch up. 

As usual, we went into the shop, best and less. 

We went in to find a cardigan for Diane. But we headed straight to the baby section. 

We always head to the children’s section as between Diane and I we have seven granddaughters plus now a half lol 

We saw one rack say $9. 

Our eyes lit up. We have missed shopping for baby clothes 

This is what we chose. Claire was with us and together picked the ones we liked. 

This little outfit wasn’t on special, but look how cute!

I had to get it. I had two enablers with me so they were no help at all 




Home now 

Shopping all put away. 

Today’s therapy session was very needed. It did help. 

Worrying news

The tests have come back on wondersons biopsy 

It’s cancer. A rare type that was actually growing on

The outside of his bowels. 

Thankfully he had that pain and they went searching. 

They wouldn’t of found it with just a colonoscopy 

This is from the the internet 

He is now waiting on another pet scan so see 

If there are anymore “hot spots”

And then they will decide on the next step to take 

I don’t have to tell you how worried and upset I am 

This isn’t supposed to happen to your children. It’s 

Supposed to happen to us. 

I just don’t know what I do or where I go now 

I just feel sick. 

TLC

Our back gardens are in desperate need of some attention. We just haven’t been able to spend time here. 

Today hubby decided to tackle the vegetable patch 

I helped little bit he did the bulk of it 

There is still this part to do, but we have run out of steam. We really feel our age, and health issues out here. 

So these days we do just what we can and stop 



In amongst the jungle of weeds and plants were some huge zucchini and cucumbers. We cut them up and fed them to the steer. He loves it. 

We even had a heap of leek that had gone to seed, and he just ate them all up. 

This is one reason we don’t mind letting it all go to pot at the end on the season 



We even found some produce for us!



The rest of the day will be resting. 

Hubby is very busy at the shed with wonderson still off recovering from his surgery 

I will drive to my mothers and spend some time with 

Her. Taking her to the cemetery and shopping 

So our busy lives will continue to be busy for a little while yet.
