For some idiotic reason, when separating
The body and sleeves I looked at the directions
And seeing CO I cast off the number so stitches.
Completely forgetting that BO is casting off
And CO is casting on more stitches
So I’m back to square one
I’m blaming all the stuff that’s going on right now
On my total screw up here.
The only consolation is, I don’t kneed to start another project.
This one is keeping me very busy!
Honestly. I thought the cable would be the hardest bit.
Please pray to the god of knitting and crochet to
Help me I really need it
I not surprised you're having trouble concentrating, considering all your current worries. Good for you for persevering. But that's one of your many superpowers.
ReplyDeleteSuper power? Or stubbornness lol
DeleteJust leave it as is and wear it as a little stole/cape on your shoulders!
ReplyDeleteAn excellent idea.
DeleteIf I have to pull it out once more that’s definitely what I’m going to do
Worry really does mess with your brain, big time. Just take your time and it will all come right in the end, although I do like Debra's suggestion. Ingenious!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. I might just do that if this time it doesn’t work
DeleteYou have a lot of patience. But so worth it to get it right!!
ReplyDeleteI think I’d be working on something. Might as well be this jumper
DeleteYou've got this. We tend to get so caught up with the new techniques that the old ones we know by heart let us down.
ReplyDeleteThat’s exactly what happened. I’m just not using my brain
DeleteOh crikey not again (and I know that feeling - reknitted 2 complete pullovers for Mr B - didnt entirely enjoy that process either. 3rd time lucky. Apologies for not being here everyday but having to conserve mobile data out here in the Styx...once I get a proper connection I'll be back....
ReplyDeleteIt’s totally fine. You’re so busy. It’s best to get it all done before winter really sets in
