Relaxing

It’s a warm day today. And the alpacas are feeling the heat as they they haven’t been shorn yet 

So we have a sprinkler on for them to enjoy 

Even one of the lambs was playing in it 

The joys of farm life lol 

Sitting outside with the furbabies 

There is a lovely breeze so it’s nice outside 

We have opened the south facing blinds to take full advantage of the cool wind 

Apart from catching up on the washing 

Today is going to be a rest day 

Hope you get a chance to rest and relax too

It’s a start

I’ll Finish on the 6th January like the good Greek girl I am 

Believe me. It’s going to take that long 

I’ll need a few days to recover after today

Christmas 2019

Christmas this year was pretty full on. 

First we had the business Christmas bbq. I didn’t get a chance to take pics as I was busy being the 

Hostess with the mostess 

Then a few days later was Christmas Eve and my babies came around for our family Christmas 

Grandpa had a ball playing with the girls 

And there was lots of yummy food 

Christmas Day was spent with our wonderful friends 

We had a relaxing Christmas Day with chris and jody and Chris’s  mum  Kath 

We laughed and ate and drank wayyyyy too much lol 

Then Boxing Day was spent at my parents place this is my baby girl and wonderson with the Brianna 

This is wyatt my nieces son and my godson. Isn’t he a handsome little dude 

Melody got a new bike from her great grandparents 
She had a ball riding it around and around 

That’s her great granddad my dad in the background 

Brianna got a formula one car and uncle mathew is helping her 

She’s just like me. Nothing stops her from eating lol 

My dad , my son mathew and my brother in law Rodney 

Looking after the lamb on the spit 

So I can finally relax knowing Christmas is done and dusted for another year

Making fudge

I decided I wanted to make some fudge 

So I checked out pinterest. As you do and found a couple of 

Recipes 

This first one is made on the stove top using White chocolate

Corn syrup and butter. 

I added crushed candy canes and mini smarties after it cooled down a tad 

I didn’t taste this. But it looks interesting 

I made a chocolate one in the slow cooker 

Takes longer 

And uses sweetened condensed milk instead of the corn syrup 

I did taste this one 

I got some on my fingers trying to pour it out lol 

And oh my it’s lovely and smooth. 

Just a mix of dark and milk chocolate and a dash of vanilla 

Got them both in the fridge setting 

I hope everyone will like them 

Apparently they do last a while in a sealed container

I don’t know how long they will last the hubby though lol 

Hope your all ready or just about done for Christmas 

I have a few last minute things and then I’m done 

Soon life will return to normal

Sunny Sunday

We are enjoying a beautiful sunny Sunday 

There is a slight breeze drying my washing 

I’ve watered all the pots and newly planted shrubs 

Hubby has mowed and the budgies are getting so e glorious 

Sunshine after having their cage cleaned 

The cow is mooing 

The dogs are laying around 

The cats have found cool shady spots to sleep

And I have a ton of work waiting in side 

But I’m staying out here 

With the birds, and the bees and get me some free vitamin D
