Update

Thank you for your good thoughts.

He is doing very well getting over the surgery

He is now even walking around the hospital.

He might get home tomorrow or Friday depending on when they

Have given him any solid food

I’ve spoken to him this morning and he’s very upbeat. Except for the lack of real food

We really only now are waiting for the biopsy report

Still very hopeful for a positive diagnosis.

  2. Isn't modern surgery technique amazing - so much less disruption to the rest of the body. I didn't comment yesterday - processed such cataclysmic news for someone so young. Routine screening is usually only available for over 60s here and UK so he was kind of lucky in a weird way that it hurt so badly and it has been pucked up before the news was even worse.

    1. I thought the same thing. Cancer doesn’t ask for proof of age. Anyone at any age can get it. So very thankful he was diagnosed and operated on quickly.

  3. So glad to hear he's up and walking around. Hope he returns home so quickly and can enjoy his favourite home cooked food
