Hump day

Over the last two days I finished this quilt top
I did add boarders between all the blocks and one around the whole piece

The second quilt top
I’m calling this “ summer garden”
Full of flowers and pretty colours

Predicted bread making today and she was correct
She must be psychic  lol

Here it is before cooking

And here it is done
I wondered if the top would go brown with the lid on
But it did

The whole house smells wonderful
Yes it is a cold rainy day today
A perfect baking day

  3. Having borders around each block is much better..you can appreciate the individual blocks as well as the whole quilt

  4. I'm going to look out for one of those bread ovens. Your bread is incredible and I bet the smell is irresistible. With butter and vegemite...... Mmmmmm

    1. Just butter. But I’m sure Vegemite would taste very good

  5. I have a similar pot which I've adapted for bread baking without the lid. Hm. Maybe I'll try the lid just to see.
