No plans

Today has been a day of no plans. Yet somehow I’ve been very productive

First thing this morning I went into the kitchen to take my morning meds.

I then decided to dry the dishes in the sink and put them away. Mostly they were plastic containers that don’t go into the dishwasher

I opened the plastics cupboard and it was a mess. I sat down to clean and organise it.

It’s so much better now and there is more room

I then went outside to sort the tubs. Which need to go back into the shed and which I still need out

Once I did that I opened the shed door and thought. This could do with organising too.

While organising I found my fence ornaments.
They are now on the fence looking festive

After all that I decided I needed to have a wee rest, before taking the tubs back into the shed

While enjoying my coffee I finished off the last gingerbread man.

They’re so alike I decided to embroider each one with the letters of the girls names

Anastasia, Brianna and Melody

In between I folded washing and did another load as well as normal daily housekeeping jobs

And now it’s almost four and I need to organise dinner

And that’s how my days fly by

People ask me if I get bored every day at home
Honestly I don’t have time to get bored

  1. Best kind of day. I find the unplanned ones can be really productive because they go round obstacles. When you have a list you have to deal with the unexpected if you want to cross things off the list - and stick at it even if you get nowhere for a while. Well done on being so flexible about progress.

    1. If you have a to do list and you don’t finish it. Is depressing. This way I’ve been productive and it felt good

    1. Thank you. I had stopped making amigurumi because it hurt my hands to make the stitches tiny and tight. My friend said she didn’t care if they weren’t perfect. She was just grateful I was making them. Once I let go of being “perfect” it became fun again

  6. You are always busy. Those gingerbread men (I refuse to call them gingerbread people) look gorgeous.

    1. Yup no persons here. They’re all gingerbread men
It’s easy to be busy here. There is always so much to do. If not inside there is the whole outside to look after
