A long week

I’ve been MIA as this week we have been at the hospital in palliative care
My father was in lots of pain and it took a few days to get that under control

On the 30th January. At 4.07 he took his last breath

Unfortunately it was during the time I had gone home to shower and change
Only my sister was with him
He wasn’t alone

He had many Heath issues that caused him
Lots of pain

He is at peace now
Just got to get through this week and I’ll be back

  7. Deepest sympathies Angela. Getting through the next months will be challenging. Strange things will trigger a welling up. Be kind to yourself.

  8. I'm sorry for your loss, and I'm sorry that you couldn't be there for the end. My nurse/wife has told me many stories of family members who lingered by a bedside for days only to have their loved one die when they left for a short time. I have lost both parents, so I surely understand a little of what you are going through. You're always welcome to write: tabbybluecat@gmail.com.
