Changing plans

today I was supposed to go to the farm with hubby. So I sent a message to my art friends and told them i wouldn’t be going today

But when hubby woke he said he wanted to stay the night and go to the place where he asked the man for a quote for the solar system

As he wasn’t taking the van, he had the trailer hooked up to take the mower, I decided I would prefer to stay home

So I sent off. Message saying that the plans had changed and I was coming.

Fantastic.

I put a load of washing on and pegged it on the clothes horse.

I then headed off to art.

When I got back I had a drop in.

We had tea, biscuits and a nice catchup

It had been raining here since early yesterday night.

And it was still raining heavily while my guests where her.

Once they left, the sun came out and I quickly went out back to finish planting the rest of the seedlings

I then had a “ fun” time trying to get the netting over the whole garden. It was getting windy by then and it had got dark and it started to drizzle.

It I didn’t give up and got it done

You can see some netting inside the overall cover  I’ve planted sugar peas  they , hopefully, wi start to grow up that net

The plan is, by the time they reach the top it will be safe to take the large net off

It should be consistently cold and the little white butterfly’s will be gone

You can just see the little seedlings I’ve just planted

Besides the sugar peas there are also purple and brown onions, purple cabbages and leeks

After coming in the heavens opened up again and the rain fell down

I cleaned the fireplace and lit the fire.

Trixie was so excited she started just spinning around before making herself comfortable in her beanbag.

I then got a text from hubby saying he was coming home.

I bet it’s cold and wet there. You can’t mow and he hasn’t got any heating.

He can just call tomorrow and speak to the solar man on the phone. Like we modern people do

Where ever you are. I hope the weather is lovely for you.
