Medical appointments

Actually. My doctors appointment was for 12.20, but I got in early and was out before my actual appointment time.

This has happened on the last few appointments and I’m ever so pleased.

The results of my shoulder scan came in and I do have bursitis.  It also showed inflammation in the muscles.

I’m thinking this is the fibromyalgia.

I have paper work to go and get a cortisone shot, and another referral for the left shoulder

These days, I only leave the house for medical appointments. Then I get everything else I need done on that day

I end up getting exhausted, but I don’t have to go out again until the next time.

The weather has warmed up slightly. The rain has stopped and all the paddocks are drying out.

I’ll be on the phone at some point today booking the appointments for my scans and injections.

Other than that. Life is pretty boring right now.

Which I rather prefer.

  1. Oh, that life where doctors take the place of a social life! I hope the bursitis clears up quickly.

  2. I always book the first or second morning appointment slot with my doctor, before he has a chance to get behind. Works pretty well as a strategy.

    1. Unless your doctor does hospital rounds first, as a couple of mine do. Then their appointment day starts out late and gets later as it goes.

  4. At least you know what's happening now. I hope the cortisone works. But not enough to give you the feeling you can go out and pull weeds lol

  5. Our doctor will be late for his own funeral!!! It drives me crazy....... Hubby had a cortisone shot in his hand at the beginning of the year. I sat there watching in absolute horror while the doctor did it...........no thank you!! It did work though, but as the doctor said it was only a temporary fix and it was. Hubby had surgery on his hand a couple of weeks ago.
