Anything you can do

Remember a few months ago baby girl broke her wrist, well this is Harley's ankle. He's her fiancé. 

Yup was wrestling with one of the groomsmen and he heard a pop. Ankle broken. Now the problem is that he has to have a cast on for 6-8 weeks, but the wedding is in only four. See the problem

Baby girl was not happy.

But I told her it's ok you have had your something going wrong. The rest of the speeding will go off fine

We oldies just think it's funny, unfortunately he cannot work and as they have just started their own business it wasn't great it ring, but hey that's life right 

Meanwhile once I got home from our bus trip I  continued on with the knitting, I've since finished the white stripe and back onto the yellow

As this is not something I can do while watching TV I started another infinity scarf. This one is for my friend sue. Everyone who sees my scarf wants one! 

So as you can see life keeps on rolling on. The wedding getting closer and closer, getting all those little details taken care of.

And then it will be full on euro trip time as we leave four weeks after that.

Great ocean road

Road trip

Left yesterday in a bus to go to warnambool. And today we are making our way home via the great ocean road.

Here is the the grotto. We had to walk down heaps of steps but it was worth it

The bay of Islands looks magnificent 

And here at Logan's beach we saw whales! If you click on the pic it may get bigger.

There were two adults and a calf. So very excited. Not far off the shore and kids were swimming nature is amazing

So we are at port cambell today and still have heaps to see.

Not rushing just taking our time and enjoying the view

Another baby

My daughters best friends, elder sister is having her third baby.

I crocheted blankets for the first two and decided to knit for this one. We don't know the sex so yellow and white are good colours I think

This is not a mindless knitting pattern, and be warned. If your listening to 80's music you will do a lot of undoing as you will get it wrong while your singing away!

I decided to add the white because it looked too yellow, I told my friend Shirley this and she laughed. But I'm sure you all know what I ment right?

Anyway I'll continue going, keep knitting while doing other things like washing and cooking and I'm sure before I know it I'll be finished and then I can bob away to my music again.

The sun is shining, the windows open with a lovely breeze coming through. 

It's a good day to be alive

Pressies done

Here they are. I didn't like the ones I did yesterday so I made these ones today. Much nicer I think. 

Got me some pretty bags 

And each now has a snowflake/star. Closer to Christmas I'll put some chocolate in as well and all the girls in knitting are done. 

Don't worry they don't read the blog so shhhhhh don't tell them.
