Some of the bulbs I planted have started to come up. 

Alway an exciting time of the year. 

Can't wait to see them all bloom

Productive Sunday

Collected more chillies

A couple of cabbages. So we planted four purple cabbages to replace them

Moved the citrus to their proper spots and added a bay tree and an olive tree 

Another berry patch

Raspberries 

Kiwi berries 

Thornless blackberry 

Boysenberry 

And another rose. 

We also took out the last of the eggplants and planted beetroot and radishes. 

All in all a great day

Garden tails

The roses I planted in hanging pots doing really well 

Baby lemons on my potted Myer 

Seedlings growing so that eventually the peacock will be standing in a beautiful green carpet 

Wine barrel seedlings growing nicely, I wonder do I need to pinch the tops to make them fill out?

Roses coming back. Lots of little green buds but also flowers! 

The strawberries are doing really well and the blueberries have grown hopefully I'll get something this summer

My cabbages. Ready to eat me thinks.

Broccoli should soon start producing I hope yummy

My kale I've already had some and put it a vegetable soup. 

Peas growing nicely

Celery also have harvested for my soup. It looks and smells wonderful

Wordless Wednesday

Progress report

The pergola is now finished. Painting is coming along. The down pipe will be plumbed into our bathwater pipe that goes out into our paddock. 

As soon as the second coat of paint is finished I'll be able to go crazy and hang pot plants and bring my citrus trees from around the front to their final place. 

This is now my favourite part. The finishing touches. I'll also look for a table and chairs set. I'm thinking those fancy metal ones would look nice

Frosty Monday morning

Woke up and it's frosty white outside. 

It's pretty and I love it. 

Although it's cold it makes you feel good to breath in the crisp air

Another week has begun. I have art this morning but after that I'll stay home and rest. The weekend really took it out of me. My throat is very sore and my head is throbbing. I hope some painkillers will be enough to get me through class. Only two more to go

Hello all

Have to take hubby for a routine colonoscopy today. It's cold and I'm finding it hard to get moving. 

It's almost the winter solstice and soon the weather will get better but for now I'm keeping those fires burning.
