Today I went to the local botanic gardens
We are only allowed to travel within five kilometres from home and the gardens are thankfully definitely
In the five ks
While driving to the carpark, there is a long road into the gardens I saw a wallaby by the side of the road
I couldn’t take a pic as I was driving but he/she was just sitting there watching all the cars go past
I did see this honey eater enjoying a mid morning snack
We also saw a bandicoot
We couldn’t get a pic so here’s one I got before the lockdown
Isn’t he/she adorable
The sun was out and it was a lovey day
There were lots of people out and about in then gardens
Some were having picnics with their children
It was lovely to see
Everyone you came across was wearing a mask
But we were all so happy to be out of the house and enjoying beautiful gardens, lovely weather
And amongst other people I think
Stay well and safe
See ya
Lovely wildlife - and beautiful warratah too. Glad you can get out and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful sunny day there were lots of others enjoying the gardens as well
DeleteDid I hear correctly that the limithas been changed to 10km? I will find it hard to have my wings clipped when we get home!
ReplyDeleteYes the new rules are ten kilometres
DeleteAnd we can meet up with another person for a picnic.
If I were you I’d stay north a tad longer
Lovely outing. And you saw a wallaby. How exciting. Though probably not for you.
ReplyDeleteCan you have a picnic with your family?
We can as of tomorrow. So excited
DeleteI had to look carefully to see the birdie!! Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteYes very well camouflaged. I might have to go again with my camera
DeleteI find your animals and such interesting.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
Hopefully I’ll get a shot of the wallabies for you to see
