Today hubby and I headed off to a field day at Lardner Park
Farm world happens every year. We used to take the kids S it was way cheaper than going to the royal Melbourne show
As usual there were lots of big machines
Someone was selling these sculptures they had made
They were stunning

There were animals. Not as many as in days of past. But definitely enough to get the kids excited

Cattle, alpacas and sheep

There were even some hairy coo’s

Taking you sheep for a walk as you do

There was so much to see. It’s grown so much from when we used to go.

The farm it’s in is hilly. I was exhausted by the time we had seen half of what was there
I waited by the gate while hubby went and got the car.
Except for my health issues cutting the day short
It was a lovely day out
Fun day out for a family.
ReplyDeleteI used to love those agricultural shows. Love to see all your photos, llamas and koalas and hairy coos especially, and happy to hear you could enjoy the outing.
ReplyDeleteWe used to have a local 4H show like this, but smaller great for taking kids to see animals close up. Egg hatching, baby animals, K9 demos, everything. I used to set up and draw cows, great opportunity.
ReplyDeleteFarm animals are always the best part of any Agri-Ex, in my opinion.
