In this corner I had the box with the owl with blankets on top
It had packets of yarn that at the time of purchase I just had nowhere to keep.
I also had tucked behind the large purple flat case that I used to take my quilting
Paraphernalia too and from the classes I used to do.
Many many moons ago
It never looked tidy

The yarn is now in the first three boxes. These now sit where the box was.
It looks much neater and it’s easier to get to the yarn when I’m looking for it

Meanwhile the blankets are in the box tucked away in this corner
The wicker basket on it has bits and bobs in it. I really need to go through that and see if I can
distribute or get rid of what’s in it. I’m not actually sure what it all is
The purple case is behind it
And the brown doggie play pen is under my cupboards. It’s now something I’ve used since Trixie was a puppy.
She used to go in there when I was opening the sliding door to bring in wood for the fire
She now stays inside and I don’t have to worry
But for now it’s much neater.

The lilac metal shelves has a recent order of yarn and fabric stashed in there.
I’m sure they will be transferred into the fabric boxes away from view
Then I’ll decorate what I’ll do with it. As you can see in the background there are lots
Of things in tubs and shelves. I’m going to go through that all and see what I can
Put away in the fabric draws, and what I can recycle or give away.
Once it’s all cleared there will be a place for the shelves and hopefully it will look neater and
Be easier for finding what I need
And a progress shot of the cables.
I was out most of yesterday, so I didn’t work on it much.
But now I’ve got the whole thing sorted in my brains I’m going faster
So for the rest of today I’ll go from organising the craft room, and knitting while I
have frequent resting stops.
I’ve learnt to not push too hard or I’ll be out of action for days
And with Ana here tomorrow I just can’t afford to be sore and exhausted
Once that’s done. Well I have the pantry and refrigerator to sort
Out and clean.
Not looking forward to that!
