Moving day

First thing this morning we started to put together my yarn storage shelves
The first one takes ages as you read and re read the instructions

But the second one was a snap
I’ve already started to fill it with yarn
I sort by colour and if it’s acrylic or natural fibres

I was trying to hurry so hubby wouldn’t see just how much I had!
He didn’t say anything but the eyebrows did go up once or twice

I’ve still have more but I’ll leave it for when he’s back at work lol

The heavy stuff is now in
So I just have to slowly sort and pack it all away

I do have another cupboard coming this week so I’ll just leave the stuff I want to put in that on the floor for now
I’m exhausted.
I still have days of work, there is still more stuff in the spare room!

But the bulk of the heavy work is done
The rest will happen

I’ve decided I’ll put one little tree up for Christmas just so I can have somewhere to put the presents under
But that’s for tomorrow

Now I think a drink and a relax
Hope your all safe and well
See ya xxx

  2. The words 'yarn storage' popped out at me and I had to read your post immediately! That's a load of storage. Nothing like my pathetic plastic IKEA box. Fun fun fun sorting all that into colours and categories. Can't wait to see the final pic though I will be green with envy. A girl's gotta have lots of yarn!!

    1. PS just realised that those are closed 'boxes', not shelves so there will be no final photo of shelves full of colour. Never mind. Better kept away from inquiring minds lol
Such a wonderful room to have. Enjoy it all

    2. Yes. There are boxes in all the pigeon holes that way it doesn’t all get pulled out
Hopefully I’ll have it all organised soon

  4. Love the storage. F needs boxes like that for her fabric stash. She's trying to reduce it to nil before we move again but she's a lost cause - if she walks past a fabric shop with its remnants bin out front all resolve dissolves...
