What's keeping me up

These five day old kittens, that's what. They are so cute. The last two of a littler of five. I lost three which were very small and very sick. Mum did not want to look after them any more.
How did I get them, well my wonderful neighbour runs an animal rescue across the road and she already has her hands full looking after orphan puppies, so I took on these.
It's heartbreaking when you lose one. But you keep going hoping that these will grow and find loving homes
above is the smaller of the two, his a dear little fellow. He is slowly drinking more milk and I get very excited when he does a good wee. Moths why are we so obsessed with what comes out. Lol
And this cubby baby is the little girl. She is eating lots and going. Great guns. She has even started purring and absolutely loves to cuddle.
So now you know what I have been up too. I'm very tired but also very happy that at least these two look like they are going to make it.
See (yawn) ya!

  4. VERY cute - I miss having kittens! Rub their botties after their milk with a warm wet cloth and they should go loo for you Love Leanne

  6. Thanks everyone, yes lack of sleep is beginning to take its toll but luckily I don't have to go to work or have kids to run after any more so I'm planing on having a nana nap this after noon. Thanks for advice leanne I was just using tissue and rubbing their bottoms but a warm cloth sounds much nicer for them.

  7. They are so sweet .... I live in an apartment and now I know why because I would have a yard full of cats if I owned my own house :)

  8. My barn cats had kittens this summer and despite my best efforts only one survived. There was a virus that killed most of them.
