Drying herbs

Picked my oregano 
Placed them in dryer. 
Now it's going. 
Hope this works. I use a lot of this herb in my cooking

    I never tried using the dehydrator, just the water heater closet. I hope it works and doesn't 'cook' it ahead of time.

    You will have dried Herbs in no time. I never thought about the water heated closet. S. J. May have a good ideal too.

    We won't have a water heater closet. Our water heater is outside or older homes have them in the roof. It's seems to be working I have a jar full now. Just a few I thought were not quite done so I've put them back in for another hour or so just to be sure. I don't want to risk mould ruining the whole lot
