Pickled beets ( and onions )

I pulled up the last of the beetroot and pickled them. I also added onions to the beetroot jars and made just a jar up of the onion. 

I till have a few large onions in the garden that have to be harvested so I'm debating if I should just pickle them as well. Since they are large I just slice them up chunky style. 

I'm thinking they will taste delish with a BBQ or home make fish and chips.

Now if I can just make sure no one opens these until they are ready
