This little corner has given me a bit of a headache.
Not as Zen as it looks right now
This Buddha was at the reject shop. I had been looking at him for a few weeks.
Wasn't sure where I would put him. So I left him there while I pondered
Well I decided to move the dogs couch from that wall. I moved it closer to the house. As when it pours rain
It comes through the crack between the two roofs and wets it.
Not always. But when it's coming down hard the cutters just cannot cope.
Which left me a bare wall
Over the weekend I purchased the wall art and began the drama that was the production of the zen space
As you can see. It's not centre. That's because that's where the stud is. Therefore that is the only place we can screw the artwork safely.
As we have besser , concrete, walls. We have never needed a stud finder
So off we went to bunnings hardware to purchase a stud finder as we couldn't find it without one.
So now we have a stud finder, which we will probably never use again.
Anyway. That little Buddha came into mind again. But again I wasn't sure
Then I saw him at a friends facebook page. He looked lovely
She lives in Adelaide so we won't have people saying we both had the same things
This little Buddha has a solar light and a solar water pump.
I knew it wouldn't get the sun where I wanted to place it. So I read on the box it had a five meter cord
Great I thought. I can place that in the sun
What I didn't know. Is that cord is for the pump. I'm not fussed about the pump. What I really wanted was the light.
But the solar panel for the light is at the back of his head
See the problem.
I was not a happy camper.
Don't like it when plans don't work.
So I went looking for another Buddha bust to put here and I was going to move this one to somewhere it can get sun
But I count find anything I liked
So for now he stays. The cords have been put away safely
And I've added the pots and plants
So now I'm just going to chill out and let the universe take care of it
Thinking a few crystals and something to hold incense in and it's done
Well what do you think?
I'm happy. For now
See ya xxx
part of Zen is less is more. The light is not needed. Try moving it more to the let and the pots to the right. See if it gives you more peace.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the universe will settle the matter for you. Maybe you just need another Buddha!.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, it's none of my business - but - since you asked - the arrangement as is would drive me nuts. There is no balance with the tree of life. I'd shift Buddah and lose one of the plants, as long as you can't center the tree on the wall. Just my opinion - you did ask.
ReplyDeleteDid you know they make sticky wall hangers that take no nails or damaging hangers? How heavy is that plaque?
I'm thinking maybe another Buddha will come eventually
ReplyDeleteI have decided I like it uncenterred. The tree is on the female side of Buddha so that in itself may be significant
And totally agree. Less is more. So besides the crystals and incense I'm not adding anymore to it
Hi Angela I would maybe look for something else to stand yr Buddha on ill post you something later over all I love it And I did find some wall hangers
