Friday

Miss Ana modelling her new cardigan made with love

It’s just a tad big so will hopefully fit her all winter

She was such a good girl today.
Grandma got lots of cuddles
Until grandpa came home.

It’s cold and wet tonight
Hopefully we will get a few hours during the weekend of no rain so I can plant out more winter crops

The first planting is growing really well

  1. Oh she is such a poppet and Grandmas cardigan is lovely. Better a little bigger than too small. Maybe she will wear it next winter too though I bet grandma is already planning another for next winter

    1. They’re so easy to make I’m currently working on one for the charity pile at knitting group it’s a newborn size as I’m working with left over yarn.

  2. That’s turned out really well Angela and as Linda says‘better too big than too small’. My mother used to say….lots of room for growth was necessary. Double hems on skirts and sleeves rolled up or turned under!

    1. Thank you. I didn’t have anything to measure with. So I kinda eyeballed it.

  5. It's a great cardigan. Perfect for keeping little chests warm without them looking like the michelin man!

    1. Can you let me know the pattern and where you got it? I think I could actually manage that!
