It’s not covid

I have caught Ana’s lurgy. Not covid. I’ve got a block ear and sinus.

I did have it on the right a few days ago but some ear candling cleared it.  Woke up this morning snd it’s the left side. We have treated it with warm olive oil and tonight we will eat candle it before bed.
Hopi that will clear it

I’m bummed as I had plans today.
I’ve been keeping a secret. I’m going to have art lessons.
Don’t know how good I’ll be. The wonderful lady that pained a pic of my house wants to see if she can teach adults do I’m the practice person. If she can teach me. She can teach anyone.
My art teacher at school told me I would never be an artist and I really think he was right. But I’d love to be able to paint. So hopefully I’ll be better soon and we can start

Other than that. I’ll be on the couch, hubbys strict orders ,
Working with yarn. First job is to mend this. It’s coming apart

It’s a long weekend for the queen’s birthday.
Yeah her birthday is in April but we have it in June
Happy birthday your majesty. I hope he have you around for at least another dozen years.

  1. Feel better soon. The art classes sound wonderful. Oil or watercolour?

  2. Some day I will learn how to granny squares. Any creative thing is practice and not being to hard on your self.
Coffee is on and stay safe

    1. While your running your clients around keep an eye open for cheap yarn. Start a stash now so when you retire you can learn the granny square and many many other patterns

  3. I like that colour combination on your blanket- sage green seems to blend with lots of different colours doesn’t it.
I would need a full floor length long sleeved overall if I went anywhere near oil paints. You’ll be fine though- don’t think you’re as clumsy as me

  4. Your art teacher was no teacher if he said that to you (or anyone). The failing was in him not you. You might not be a painter if paint doesn't fulfil your expressive desire, but art is not paint. Everything you create is art. Yarn is a medium as legitimately as paint, or clay. A teacher who can't develop in you your own expression of creative imagination has failed as a teacher. Enjoy your painting experience.

  5. Good luck with the art. I'm another who has no talent. I tried a couple of lessons and gave up. Found more interest in other projects
