Day two. Australia Day

The girls were playing with my knitted squares and started to make a pattern out. Still have many many more to knit

After lunch they packed up and left  they
are going to son in law’s grandparents house. They live near lakes entrance

So now this is my view while in knit

The rain has gone but the wind is cold so trixie and I have rugged up if it gets any stronger we will go into the van

Hubby is off doing something or other. He really doesn’t know how to just sit. Which is fine. I’m happy just being in solitude crafting away looking at the clouds racing by

Not a bad way to spend a holiday

  1. Sounds as if everyone's doing their thing! I love the rugged-up dog, though this isn't how I thought the Australian summer worked.

    1. Usually it’s a really warm day and lots of people spend it at the beach.
This has not been a normal summer at all

  2. Lucky you're a blanket maker. They're a necessity!

    1. Definitely will need extras in the winter if this summer has been any indication

  3. When you think about it you aren't sitting doing nothing...wonder what your hubby would sit and do that he wouldn't consider doing nothing?!

    1. I’ve been trying to get him to read more. But as I usually have an audiobook going that’s gone by the wayside

    1. Thanks you. It’s getting a tad politically charged so we don’t over do it

  5. It is just so relaxing to be outdoors, often at a time you wouldn't be if at home, isn't it?

    1. At home I’d be working in the garden. So not so much sitting and admiring
