The big reveal

Now the baby blanket has gone to its new home I can show you what I made
It’s for a baby boy.  So I decided puppies would be nice
The blue and white parts are bones for the puppy to chew on lol

Can you see the dogs. I think they’re Scotty dogs.

My masseuse, Sue, asked me to make her some more bowl cosies
Her brother and her best friend have both tried to steal the ones I made her.
She’ll be gifting them these for Christmas

I really need to trim and finish my scrap quilt. It’s been waiting for months.
But it’s so big I know I’m going to hurt my back pushing and pulling it through the machine.
I guess I just have to bite the bullet, so to speak, and just get it done.

  1. That is a lovely blanket. Pace yourself with the quilt. You don't want to be out of action again.

    1. I’ll definitely be trimming one day and sewing the binding another day
The best part will ge the hand sewing. At least if I sit on the couch it’s not too heavy

  2. That's a spectacular blanket. Is there any alternative to doing the quilt finishing yourself? Just wondering.

    1. I don’t think so. Or it will cost too much. I’ll get it done sooner or later

  3. Slow and steady on the scrap quilt. I guess it's a trade off between lots of days of a little pain or two days of wiped out. The Scotties are lovely.

    1. I’ll definitely have to do one step a day at least the hand stitching will be ok. I can sit on the floor if it’s too big and heavy

  6. Such a gorgeous blanket, and the bowl cosies are pretty good too. Maybe just a little at a time for the scrap quilt, it will get done eventually xxx
