Getting things done

Today was about finishing off.
The pelican is done. He’s happily swimming along not a worry in the world

Christmas tree done.
I had started it yesterday but finished it off today.
I did some before class and then after. It gave my back a rest

Table and chairs done. All ready for lots of food and family to enjoy

Now I’m resting.
It’s beautiful and warm outside so I’ll go out soon and water the pots while getting some vitamin D

How’s your Christmas prep going?

  2. I will complete the comment this time!
Haven't even started! I kept saying one day I would spend Christmas on a cruise and then Covid struck! I was only joking - you need a passport to go on a cruise.
    Your decorations look most festive.
And Mr Pelican is very pensive. Love those birds.

    1. You don’t need one if your staying around Australia. It actually sounds like a great idea to me

    2. I had a hankering to go to New Zealand. It will be a cold day in hell before I get on a plague ship, now, though!

  3. The tree is beautiful and love your dining area. It's still a bit early for serious decorating for me. But...the grandkids are coming up today to put up the tree. Can't say no to them

    1. I can’t wait until all mine are old enough to help
That would make grandma very happy

  4. I do minimal decorating, but I admire other people's efforts. I can't have live cut trees indoors, dangerously allergic to the drying foliage. So I admire from afar.

    1. We used to always have a real tree and the mess was very annoying. I now have the fake tree and I can put it up in stages. Once it’s done. No more mess. Unless someone touches it

    1. Thank you. For the last few years I have two big ones up. But I’m just too tired this year.

  6. Pelican is 'most excellent' as our Danish friend would say. We love him.

    1. Thank you. He’s like me. All calm on top but paddling furiously underneath lol
