I know Easter is a while yet
And I know it’s not spring here
But after the last week I just wanted a bit of decoration to pep me up
I leave it up until both the catholic Easter and Orthodox Easter’s are done.
Unless it annoys me lol
This morning I canceled my pool membership
After ten years. I was sad. But I’m
Just not going enough to justify the cost. I will still go. Just to catch up with everyone and pay as I go.
If things change I’ll join again.
Maybe after all these years I just need a break
Someimes it is just time to stop. Pay as you go sounds ideal - no guilt for not using a membership.
ReplyDeleteI like your early Easter decorations. And it's realistic to cancel a membership that's not working for you. Pay as you go sounds fine. You'll probably go just as much, without feeling you're not getting your membership's worth.
ReplyDeleteLovely Easter decorations - here the last of the Christmas ones have only just come down! I kind of wait until some sun returns before discarding the 'hopeful' ones.
ReplyDeleteNo sense paying for a pool membership if you're not getting your money's worth out of it.
ReplyDeleteI am just catching up on your blog. I was laughing when reading the post about grans tv being broken. Our youngest grand came over when I had no power and he is Bluey mad as well. He kept asking for the tv to be put on. I said the tv was broken as well. I have started buying Easter presents for the grands. I won't decorate the house though. Bought each child a t-shirt at WalMart as part of their gift.
ReplyDeleteEaster can’t be that far away - hot cross buns have been on sale since Boxing Day! And if we get any more hot weather they’ll be reducing the price of chocolate eggs to stop them melting😊
ReplyDeleteI reluctantly did the same with my centre membership - going onto visa regularly and not being used made a mockery of being able to use the gym and pool any day any time no restrictions. Found it cheaper to buy 10 visit passes for both but now am only getting pool ones. They last 12 months which is good - not being used, no loss. If asked nicely they will extend unused visits for a few months.
I like your easter tree.
