This morning we headed off to activate our hop on hop off voucher and redeem it for our tickets.
We paid for three days.
We fought the normal bus to Trafalgar Square only to find no sight of a shop front. We did find a bus from the company and spoke to the driver. He told us to get on and he’d sort it.
Next stop someone comes on and he can’t print tickets.
Big stay in we were told. Someone else will help us.
Another person comes on. Takes pictures of our voucher and says our tickets will come.
Nothing happens. We get off to get on another coloured route and we bump into the original guy.
We tell him we still don’t have tickets. So he rings his supervisors
A lovely lady arrives. Can’t believe we have had so much drama and tells the guy to just print out tickets for us
Finally all is ok.
My advice is. Don’t pre purchase your tickets. Just get them here. There are a few different companies and they’re all good.
At least we were looked after and everyone we spoke too really tried to help us.
That has pretty much been the extent of dramas so far during this trip.
Let’s hope that’s the worst of it and the rest of our time continues as smooth as it’s been so far.
It's always a woman who fixes things! Just sayin..
ReplyDeleteI'm glad things all worked out! Hop on/Hop off buses are a great way to see the sights!
ReplyDeleteIf that is all you have to contend with you have done well.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe all the sunny weather you've got. Looks lovely!!
ReplyDeleteThat's my sort of visiting tourist sites! Touring round on the bus is a great way to see the city. Of course you have to do the foot slog as well!
