Well we made it. It was a gruelling long trip. But we are here 

We landed a tad later than we expected due to our connecting flight being late. 

Apparently the plane was hit by lightening when it had left Gatwick airport so it needed a complete going over 

To make sure it was ok. 

Which was totally fine with us! 

We got the the hotel around tenish and were told we could have the room booked at three. But we Could have a different one then. 

We chose the different room and had a lovely rest after showering and changing our clothes 

We tried really hard to stay up till a normal bed time but by four o’clock we were just falling asleep while sitting. 

So we admitted defeat. 

So it’s now 1.30 in the morning. And we are both awake. So we will allow ourselves half an hour of awake time and then we will try to go back to sleep

We have a couple of days on our own before the tour starts. 

Now to try and see if we can just fall back to sleep even for a few hours before going down to breakfast
