This morning we were off to Westminster Abbey. We didn’t have to wait in line because the tours have their own entrance. Bonus

The ceiling is carved stone
There are many final resting places of famous people but also monuments to them even if they’re buried elsewhere
So much history and so many royals buried here. A wonderful place you could easily spend hours at
Once we left we headed off to Kensington palace. The one time home of a young Princess one day to be Queen Victoria and more recently princess Dianna.

We even got to have tea at the pavilion near her gardens. It was lovely
After cucumber sandwiches scones and tea we headed back onto our bus
The rest of my little gang was dropped off near Harrods. But I came back home. I need to rest

ReplyDeleteWestminster Abbey is one big cemetery. A fascinating place to visit though kind of creepy too. At least that's how it struck me.
