The first pic of of the garden I tried to weed by hand. It was that bad Things we’re over grown and to get to the weeds you had to pretty much pull out plants who’s roots were deep
After injuring myself hubby said he could do it with his machine. We would save what we could but it’s better to lose a plant or two than be in pain. I agreed
So with his little machine he scraped off carefully saving bulbs and plants and getting rid of everything else
It now looks like this. He will top it up with soil and compost. I’ll replant what I can and buy more pretty flowers to add to it

It looks so much better. I can see this garden from where I sit so it was annoying me immensely
I’m going to plant lots of flowers so I can admire them even on a rainy day like today
Work smarter not harder
I hadn't even notice a bed there! It will be a lovely thing to look at from your couch. Hope your back is better.
ReplyDeleteIt was well camouflaged. Once it’s been topped up I can start the fun of planting
DeleteA clean slate is often better than a grubby one…..even if you lose a few ‘things’ in the clean up. With careful choice and planting you’ll have that area looking good by the beginning of Summer.
ReplyDeleteOh yes. Since I can see it from where I sit I’m going to try for lots of colour
DeleteWonderful! Enjoy all the flowers you will plant there!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I’ve been and purchased lots of seedlings alreqdy lol
DeleteWhat a wonderful little machine. Nice to be able to enjoy the result without pain.
ReplyDeleteStill looks very wet
It’s even wetter now I want to get in and get it done
DeleteCan't wait to see it in colour again later in the summer.
ReplyDeleteOh yes I’ll be sitting back with a nice glass of something cold and enjoying it
