First up this morning we toured around the Isl of sky
Then off to Loch Ness
We had a rest stop and found some Hairy Coo’s
Our TD. Wonderful lady that she is. Bought us carrots to feed them. We all were very excited
Then to culloden at the battle sight of the last civil war in Britain
And finally we visited a farm where I sheared a sheep
A huge day
Off to dinner now
Wait, an Aussie goes all the way to the Scottish highlands to shear a sheep?? All the sheep in oz already sheared? Looks like a marvelous tour. They think of everything.
ReplyDeleteWouldn’t be allowed near our sheep. Even the farmer said in Australia the wool is very expensive.
DeleteMy sheep are self shedding so don’t need shearing
What a day! I hope you got Nessie's autograph. Did you take the photo of the Clan Fraser monument at Culloden because you watch "Outlander"?
ReplyDeleteNo I haven’t seen it. I’m going to make sure I do now

Susan here! Outlander is a HUGE set of books, around 10 - and the author still hasn’t finished! The TV series (Series 7 starts today!) is excellent, slightly different to the books but very well done! A lot was filmed very close to my daughter in Scotland and several friends have done several small parts! ;) Enjoy your trip! You seem to be having such a great time!
DeleteYou sheared a sheep?? Awesome !
ReplyDeleteI do love those coos!
So much Scottish history!
